Russ McIntosh has lived in the Northern Virginia area since 1984. He attended several local schools, and even attended the acclaimed Art Instruction School based in Chicago, Illinois where he earned his first certification in art while he was still in high school, before continuing to college where he earned the honor of Cum Laude with his high grade average for a BA of Arts in Liberal Studies, with a specialization in both Illustration and Electronic Graphic Design.
As his career path began to broaden, he has worked with several companies utilizing his skills in graphic design. From a production assistant at a local sign company, to the art director of a design firm in Manassas, VA, Russ is able to maintain an open communication with the client, and is able to better understand how to relate their needs and goals to bring about the final product that all have striven for.
"I have always had a passion for art, even from a very early age. I was the go to person in the family when someone needed a poster drawn for a school project. When my older brother was in first grade, and I was in preschool, he had to draw a picture of his house for a class project. As he sat across the table from me, working on his drawing, I began working on my own drawing - an exact mirrored version of his.
Now many years later, I have been working as a graphic designer for over 15 years. I enjoy making a living being creative, it drives my imagination and fuels my soul."
